Champion Batch 2 will rotate out of standard on July 1st, 2017.
Champion Batch 3 will rotate out of standard on July 1st, 2018.
Champions are given at least 3 month exclusivity with their champion cards. The entire batch will be available for public purchase later this year.

Summary of Rules Updates:
1) The Attachment Zone is now an extension of the staging area. Cards in the attachment zone counts as cards in the staging area. They can be targeted by effects, but they cannot be used to pay costs unless otherwise specified. Additional character cards in the staging area are now considered to be in the attachment zone. If a card is committed, any cards attached to it are also considered to be committed. (see D.2.2)
2) Multiple and Powerful keyword abilities are now worded to work with replacement effects (ie. Ehrlite Key). (see I.3.6 and I.3.7)
3) “Static” and “floating” effects are now defined in the LGR.

I’m pretty impressed at the art quality thus far and pretty pleased the the UFS card game is alive and well. I wasn’t too crazy about the Tekken license a while back, but once I saw the cards were hand drawn instead of crappy CG graphics – I changed my mind. Seeing all the megaman characters hand-drawn after all this time is really awesome. I remember playing the original on the NES (yes, it was a looooong time ago) and thinking : “why aren’t they making a comic of this?”
The fanboy in my is pretty psyched!
